Happy Tuesday! May it be filled with a joy that is displayed in the above picture. Joy is contagious, so spread it around! Think of how many people you may be able to influence by reflecting joy to them.  Sing loud, and have a wonderful day! 🙂

  1. Love the Dalai Lama poster and it’s saying ~> spot on!

Kitchens and Bathrooms don’t need to be beautiful to be functional. Our obsession with “updating” counter-tops and cabinets and appliances and light fixtures to “impress” visitors is a bit sick. Love your visitors and use your things.

And that top photo . . . PRICELESS!

  2. Love No.9, which reminded me of a simple philosophy about life … from a homeless man who spent much of his time on a park bench. “The secret to a happy life is to keep your mind full and your bowels empty. The problem today is that so many people seem to get it the wrong war around!”

  3. Have to go with the Dalalamas wise words this week, loving people is important, not using them. I think it’s somethimg we all needs to remember this. Another way if heard this said people are an “end” in themselves and should never be used as a “means” to an end. Thanks for sharing 🙂

  4. The Ralph Waldo Emerson quote : “For every minute you are angry you lose sixty seconds of happiness” were words that my Father offered to divert some squabbling sibling’s tempers. I have long forgotten the cause of our anger, but have never forgotten the quote! Emerson has always been a favorite of mine and I have repeated #2 often. Thank-you!

  5. HI Ellen! So good to see you back!! I have always enjoyed Emerson too! And that is another great quote! Your Father was wise to use it in that manner, looks like it made an impression on you! 🙂 Thanks for sharing!
