How many remember these? My sister and I loved drinking these.
Pretty flowers always makes me smile! And the one who gave them, fills my heart with love. Have a great day and may the quotes below fill your heart with smiles!

I am sure that you found number 9 to be comforting.
I like number 3

I thought number 3 summed things up pretty well!
Actually I was hoping that certain people who shall remain nameless, would find comfort in Number 9. 🙂

Oh gosh, I remember those International instant coffees and loved them too! Great thoughts today. Stay warm and maybe work on that book buying problem? 😍

They were the best weren’t they.
Thanks and you stay warm too! Your temps are worse than ours!
LOL about the books. I will try! 😉

We’re warming up now and were actually in double digits first thing this morning. May reach nearly 40 by early afternoon. Woohoo-a heat wave! 😆

Yay! Time to get out the flip flops! LOL! Enjoy the heat wave.

LOL, umm, may wait just a tad for the flip tops but love the idea!

Joy, well said. All good points to ponder, revealing you are a “good egg!” Myself, I may be a tad scrambled, which is OK, as I treasure the eclectic. Keith

Thanks Keith yes, being scrambled is very OK, being that I may be a bit more than just a tad! 🙂

Yes 6 is a loaded question isn’t it! And it can really make a difference when we are honest with ourselves!

Of course I don’t remember those tins of poison. But I do remember drinking Ovaltine when I was a kid.
I like #3, and I will add that a glass half empty is harder to spill.

Oh I knew you wouldn’t remember those tins, smart aleck!
But yes, I remember Ovaltine too! The tins of “poison” were much better though!
So half empty is harder to spill than half full? I think completely empty would be even harder!😛

Now you’ve got the spirit. Completely empty is best. Especially if the glass was filled with some variation of coffee.

Refillable was my favorite too. I remember International Coffee, but didn’t drink it because I wasn’t much of a coffee drinker back then. I didn’t drink Ovaltine either, but now I like the Swiss Miss half-cocoa and half-coffee blends on cold winter days like this.

Yup, always refillable! Sounds like a good blend! 🙂

So agree that the glass is refillable. Seems obvious, yet…

I enjoyed those flavored coffees.
Do they still make them?
And if they did . . . would we still enjoy them?

Good questions! I wouldn’t mind trying them again and seeing if they compared to my Salted Caramal lattes now. 🙂

#4 And I can refill it with whatever I want!
#5 You know it’s a thing when a culture has a word for it… “Tsundoku” in Japanese ( 積ん読), which reads “piled-up reading”.

I remember those coffees – they were a decadent treat.
I liked the quote about opinion and empathy, and how they are at opposite ends of the spectrum.
I also liked Kipling’s quote about telling history with stories. That’s why I enjoy reading Tippy’s historical pieces, since they are filled with stories…

They made you feel special drinking them. 🙂
I had never thought of comparing opinion with empathy but the quote made sense!
Yes, I thought of Tippy’s stories! 🙂 I also always liked Kipling’s tales.

I remember having similar coffees. I might as well have just found some flavoured soil. The stuff that was left over at the bottom of the cup. Wow. x

LOL! Oh gosh, “flavored soil!” I know some followers of mine that would so agree with you if they saw your comment! You all don’t know what is good. 🙂
