Wow … two thumbs up to Mr. Balsam!!! I typically manage to ignore the Spam, but it does get annoying as hell! For a while, I was getting as much as 300 emails in my spam folder daily!
Gratitude, indeed! I’d say, “Then I want my kidney back!!!”
“Too much time reading”. Sounds like Florida today!!! We are moving backward, I tell ya!
I never thought reading could be a problem until I raised an avid reader. He would read all the time and not do his homework. He’d read through swim meets and miss his swim. I’ll have to tell him about “reading rage.”
Haha about your son, and “reading rage”.
I was an avid reader too. Never put my book down when I was 6. Just let the Dr examine me . He told my mom it was fine. LOL!

4. As always, there’s more to the story. Her boss didn’t actually receive her kidney as they weren’t a match. Instead, it went to someone in Missouri as part of a matching program. For more info, check out https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/fired-kidney-donor/
5. I suspect that the concerns about reading in the 1700s had more to do with keeping women uneducated than anything else.

I can always count on you to give more details. Thanks for the Snopea link.
Yay for Max! π

I had a kidney stone about seven years ago. It was extremely painful. Here’s a link to a post I wrote about it, if you’re interested.
I think the dog decided to leave her and find a rescuer the minute she started giving it strange, hungry looks.
