What is on your mind today? Hopefully some good things. If not, here are some quotes to make you smile! Have a wonderful day!
It is supposed to be up to 60 degrees today. This week-end it was in the 20’s and we had a snow squall on Friday. Lasted for a little bit and then the sun came out and every trace of snow was gone. I had run into a store shortly after the snow squall, and a customer was talking to the cashier about our crazy weather. She said, “next thing you know chickens are going to start falling from the sky!” Yes, I guess that about sums up our winter this year! 🙂
Well my friends for some strange reason the copying of the pictures with my quotes for the day is not working! I have tried different ways and no luck. So you are stuck with only the words today. Sorry, but I am sure that you can still enjoy them!
1. “If money doesn’t grow on trees, then why do banks have branches?”
2. “Today is a wonderful day, I have never seen this one before!”Maya Angelou
3. “A little nonsense now and then, is relished by the wisest men.” Willy Wonka
4. “There is beauty in simplicity.”
5. “Use your fear, it can take you to the place where you store your courage.” Amelia Earhart
6. “Will it be easy? Nope! Worth it? Absolutely!”
7.“I know I am a handful, but that is why you got two hands!” 🙂
8. “Always find a reason to laugh, it may not add years to your life, but will surely add life to your years.” 🙂
9. “There is no Wi-fi in the forest, but I promise you will find a better connection!”
10. “Never stop learning, because life never stops teaching!”
Love No.10 – There are so many people who appear to believe that there is a time after which they do not need to ask questions; that they do not need to learn anything more. Sad….not only could they be missing out on great opportunities for personal growth but, more importantly (at least to me), they could be missing the best parts of their life!

So true and I did think of you when I saw that quote. I knew I had heard similar words from ” the wise sage” 🙂

Sage: an aromatic plant with grayish-green leaves that are used as a culinary herb, native to southern Europe and the Mediterranean. Hmmmmmmm! 🙂

It appears that you are confused my friend. I have been taught a way to clear up those issues and think I will use that example now.
It is interesting what emails can reveal, isn’t it? 🙂 Since you needed a reminder, here is your reply sent to me on Sunday, when I had called you a Sage. Does it jar your memory?

I am confused now! What was I confused about before, and where does a bad memory figure into this. I merely showed you one of a number of definitions of sage. Whatever you’re drinking should perhaps wait until later in the evening?

I love the Amelia Earhart quote! I hadn’t heard that before but I’m a strong believer of stepping outside your comfort zone and this definitely speaks to that. 🙂

I feel like the first quote belongs in your post from yesterday on perplexing questions! Gotta love the quirks of the English language 🙂
I think #5 and #9 are my favorites though – both very true! I’d not seen #5 before, so it’ll have to go in my book where such things are collected. Love seeing what comes up in these posts each week! 🙂

My faves are #2 and 10 – and I like them just fine without the photos – Very “SAGE” advice – ADVERB: proceeding from or characterized by wisdom, prudence, and good judgment sage advice. 🙂

Good one Jodi but, for Carolyn’s benefit:
Adverb: a word or phrase that modifies or qualifies an adjective, verb, or other adverb or a word group, expressing a relation of place, time, circumstance, manner, cause, degree, etc. (e.g., sage).
