Tuesday’s Thoughts!

Happy Tuesday! My husband and I have a chance at fame. They are filming a Christmas movie in Gettysburg, which is close by us and they are looking for  people willing to be cast as extras. You know, the people who are walking the streets or in restaurant, etc.We read how one of the spots they are filming at is a historical restaurant that we have been to before. It is a really good restaurant and it was a part of the underground railroad. You can explore the part of the building where they hid the slaves, after or before your meal. Anyway IF, which is a big if, we get to participate as “extras”, I will be sure to let you know and don’t worry, I won’t let the fame go to my head. I hope your week is going well and that you enjoy the following quotes.  That they bring a smile and a bounce to your step.

Tuesday’s Thoughts!

If you are having to do something hard, think of how you accomplished something really tough years ago! You learned how to walk! I am watching a one year old this week who is learning how to walk. She pulls herself up and lets go with one hand of what she is holding onto, and for a split second holds on with no hands and then falls down. Then back up. So determined. We need to keep that spirit of determination as adults. Don’t give up! Keep Smiling and I hope you enjoy the following quotes.

Tuesday’s Thoughts!

Happy Tuesday which I keep thinking is Monday, but I did remember the quotes today. My daughter and I had a relaxing morning of watching another Christmas movie, for Christmas really isn’t over until after New Year’s. I hope warm, happy memories were made to those who celebrated Christmas and if Christmas was hard this year, I am sorry. I know that it isn’t always the “Most wonderful time of the year.” I hope that next year can be better for you. To all those parents out there that wonder if your children will remember the Christmas traditions you have, I would like to say they pay more attention than you think. I was told by my children who are now 21 and 23 that I had done something wrong, according to our tradition. It was something small but they noticed! It was something easily fixed, and all was well, as I shook my head. Then there was the tradition of Egg Nog that almost didn’t happen! We got the last Egg Nog on the shelf. Next year I am buying it December 1st.

I wish you a good week, whether you are still relaxing and celebrating or back to work. At least its a shorter work week. Any big plans for welcoming in the New Year?

Tuesday’s Thoughts!

Happy Tuesday before Christmas! We could possibly have a white Christmas this year. Its supposed to be bitter cold so there at least should be some pretty snow to look at out the window, as we stay cozy inside. I wouldn’t mind being snowed in for the weekend. As long as Santa has Rudolph, he will be able to see his way through any snowstorm. Rudolph is another one of my favorite Christmas movies. Can’t leave that part of my childhood go. Enjoy the clip and the Christmas quotes.

Tuesday’s Thoughts!

Happy December! Christmas jazz is playing and some of my Christmas lights are on. My son got me an Enchanted Rose light that is so pretty. He told me that its a flower that won’t die, being that most of mine do. Did anyone else go over the reccomended daily allowance of sugar ? Peppermint Bark is making me go over, what is your favorite Christmas candy? Enjoy the quotes and remember to slow down this month amidst all the busyness of the season. Take time to savor the magic.

Tuesday’s Thoughts!

Happy Thanksgiving week, to those who celebrate it. We Americans celebrate being thankful for all we have on Thursday and then hit the shopping centers on Friday for everything that we think we need! The irony of having Thanksgiving and Black Friday back to back. On the other hand, I do enjoy getting a jump start on my Christmas shopping, but I am not one of those crazy people that will stand in one line for hours on end for a bargain. There is nothing I need or want that badly! Enjoy the following quotes, no line that you have to wait in and the best thing is that they are FREE. The best things in life always are!

Tuesday’s Thoughts!

Happy November! Did anyone start Christmas shopping yet? My daughter has her Christmas tree up in her room and I know I will soon be hearing Christmas music coming from her room. I don’t Christmas shop this early, but I did buy some Christmas decorations the other day, because they were 50 percent off. Hard to resist that. Don’t worry I don’t have any Christmas quotes for you today, December isn’t here yet. Just don’t blink, or it may be! Enjoy the quotes and have a great week!

Tuesday’s Thoughts!

Happy Tuesday! How is your week going? Is anyone like me in wishing that Election Day would be tomorrow? No more commercials and flyers would stop filling my mailbox. I am also thinking of grabbing my enchanted cowbell and letting it take me to Bittersweet Creek, where there are no elections and everyone is kind and peaceful all the time. Plus the sweet coffee is always flowing at Mason’s Diner. If  you want to go on a magical bike ride you can walk to Tippner’s shop and he will generously give you a discount on one of his special bikes. Sounds good, doesn’t it.

I hope you have a touch of magic in your day. Enjoy the quotes!
