A gloomy, rainy day here, but thankful to be inside, enjoying a nice cup of tea, while finding sunshine in quotes for all of you. Plus “chatting” with all of you brings smiles and sunshine to my heart. Wishing you all a great Tuesday filled with some of your favorite things!
I hope this Tuesday finds you all well and still hanging onto your sanity! What do you do to keep your sanity in these times right now? Thanks to all of you who help keep a smile on my face! I hope the following quotes bring you a slice of happiness today. Enjoy!
It’s HOT! That is my thought for the day! Don’t worry, the quotes below will be more inspiring than my thought for the day. We are seeing the dog days of summer for sure. My other flowers that had been fighting to stay alive, gave up the fight. They didn’t make it through the summer but they did survive longer than usual, so my record is slowly getting better. Hope you can stay cool today, by having a nice cold drink, or perhaps a bowl of Banana fudge ice cream! Doesn’t that sound good? My husband and I loved it, but then they discontinued the flavor, or else just stopped selling it in our grocery stores. I miss it! Coffee ice cream is good too. What is your favorite kind? Enjoy the quotes. leave a comment if you wish, and have a wonderful day!
Grab a spoon and dig in! Its fresh out of the oven, hot and yummy. Any guesses to what it is? Zucchini bread! What? You don’t eat zucchini bread with a spoon? Well ….when the bread doesn’t rise or stick together, what other option is there. It is done, its not gooey, you just can’t exactly cut it! As my husband says, its “zucchini crumble”. This is why I am a writer and not a baker! It tastes good though, and isn’t that what matters? I will try again with another recipe, I have made zucchini bread before that one can slice, just so you know!
As one of my favorite quotes says, “Blessed are those who laugh at themselves, they will never cease to be amused!” Enjoy the following quotes and remember there is more than one way to eat zucchini bread!
Happy Tuesday! The morning is getting away from me again, but I still may get this post done before noon. How is July going for you so far? I know for a lot of people summer plans either got put on hold or totally changed due to the virus. We should be in the cornfields of Indiana right now, visiting my husband’s family, but we are waiting. I hope that even if plans have changed for you, that you can still find ways to make it a good summer! May today bring you smiles! As always thanks for reading and for your comments. For without all of you I definitely wouldn’t have as many smiles!
Good Morning! The last day of June and its going to be a pretty hot one! My flowers are still hanging on, though I am afraid that the one is done, but it lasted 2 months at least! It has perked up before and surprised me, so we will see. With as hot as it will be today it would make a perfect day for the beach, but …. will have to just keep dreaming for now. That day will come though! The first quote describes where my mind is! What is your mind dreaming of today?
- YES! LOL!
Happy Quote Day! This morning kind of got away from me, but I didn’t forget that it was Tuesday Was out in the bright sunshine earlier taking a little walk. Hope your day started with a smile, and perhaps even some laughter. Now take a little time to sit back with a your favorite drink, breathe in the moment and enjoy the quotes!
Happy Tuesday! It is a beautiful, sunny day here. The flowers on my porch are still alive, which is surprising, for I have had them a little over a month now. Flowers don’t typically survive that long for me! Perhaps they will make it through the summer. Surprises do happen!
May your week be filled with sunshine and perhaps a few good surprises! Enjoy the quotes!
Happy June! I hope your first week of June brings some happiness amidst a world gone crazy right now! I know that it can be so easy to fear what may be coming next, but I heard a great quote on the radio yesterday. The person said, ” We have to learn to let go of what we can’t control so that we can grab hold of the things we can control!”
For a few moments as you read the following quotes I hope that you can let go of some of the fear and anxiety that the world can bring right now. The sickening feeling that comes when you read and see the news! I hope they can bring some smiles to your heart!
Mr.Rogers’s life was love in action. He didn’t feel the need to pose for a picture in front of a church holding a Bible, he lived the Bible!
Happy Tuesday! I hope everyone is doing well and staying healthy. The weather was beautiful yesterday. Summer is on its way! We went to a local park and enjoyed a walk among the trees. Breathed in the sweet scent of honeysuckle flowers. I hope some sweetness fills your day today in whatever you do. Have a great one!
