Happy Tuesday! How is your week going? Is anyone like me in wishing that Election Day would be tomorrow? No more commercials and flyers would stop filling my mailbox. I am also thinking of grabbing my enchanted cowbell and letting it take me to Bittersweet Creek, where there are no elections and everyone is kind and peaceful all the time. Plus the sweet coffee is always flowing at Mason’s Diner. If you want to go on a magical bike ride you can walk to Tippner’s shop and he will generously give you a discount on one of his special bikes. Sounds good, doesn’t it.
I hope you have a touch of magic in your day. Enjoy the quotes!

Wonder why I don’t know any of the African proverbs?
I like the Zebra one.

There are soo many! You probably know the ones I didn’t put. LOL!
Yes, the zebra is very good. I love the unique way they say messages in the proverbs. .

From the latest polls, it seems Oz and Fetterman are running neck and neck and neck.
#6 sounds like a great idea. I’d like to try it. I’ll bet I could make a mint. Or at least sell some mints.

#4 and #5 for me. I’m not hanging out with people who don’t accept me the way I am.

Exactly, why waste effort on people who don’t want to accept you as you are. I think thats where getting older is a good thing. We loae the pressure of trying to fit in!

Might as well sing while you’re at it. There’s a song for that, ya know

We have concluded that only the national new (half hour) on a major channel doesn’t have political commercials. Local news does. So so many. Longing for car and drug ads and to be rid of the political ones.

Yes, bring back all the other boring commercials. LOL!

It would make things easier if I could really be excited about the candidates. Unfortunately the last time I really was excited about a political candidate was ……… long ago. I think your cats should run. Love their personalities. 🙂

Remember it’s not the candidates you have to love, it’s the platform you are voting for. I’m excited about a few although I realize the ability to make any change depends on the support they get. I’m keeping my fingers crossed. We are again a strategic state. That means tons of ads. One of our local state representatives is running unopposed (except for possible write-ins). Haven’t heard a peep from him. No flyers, posters, ads. I’m always stunned by the money spent on these things. We could do great things with that money.

What am I supposed to do with all of these zebras?

Oh gosh! Didn’t know you could run so fast. Maybe you can start a Zebra reservation and when people come to Texas they can see Zebras, since the armadillos are shy.

Heh, heh…Loved #6. Can totally get where you’re coming from on the whole election thing. Except, I wish it had been days ago, not tomorrow. I want to be over the whole nasty business.

Yup, can’t get here soon enough. I just have been sooo over politics since 2020. LOL!
I am glad I remembered that I had number 6. Can you imagine the kids faces. 😄

I’m also ready for mid-term elections to be over. I did my part yesterday by voting early and it was the first time I’ve ever had to stand in line to vote, which is a good portent. Sadly, by March of 2023 we’ll start seeing and hearing about the 2024 presidential election.

I like the African proverb. True words, maybe too sensible for many people to understand?
