Since I was just informed earlier today that I am going to need surgery on my jaw, which will be scheduled for sometime early next week, I am going to eat all of the foods that a person with diabetes shouldn’t eat because I suspect I will be on a liquid only diet for some time. Learning that after sitting in the hospital waiting room for almost 3 hours before being seen is enough to make me want to stuff myself with carbs and chocolate.

We had roasted potatoes, carrots, and broccoli plus a cheddar cheese “pizza” with oregano and garlic on homemade dough.
