You are right. Its wrong that it has taken so long for men to realize the immense value in listening to a woman talk.
Maybe I should charge for each word I type. 🙂
It’s the special kind that’s too big and bulky for the cupboard, so you have to store it on the floor. Then you trip all over it. At first it was called, “trippenwitz.”
Is that where they send you 5 different sized containers with 7 different sized lids, none of which actually go together and so you resort to using old cool whip and margarine containers to store food? trappinputz or something.
I think you should buy those storage things like I buy sock. I pick a sock and only buy multiples of it, so all my socks match no matter how many get lost. If one gets a hole it it, I throw it out. Sometimes I have an extra unmatched sock in my drawer, sometimes I don’t, but it doesn’t matter. No sock worries for me. It helps that I don’t care if my socks match my belt or or whatever.
Oooh you had to add that last line. Socks don’t have to match a belt doolally! But one does need different socks and different size storage containers.
Well, if she’d only give me a chance to listen to her, I would. But instead she must assume I’m not listening to her, when she begins every sentence by saying I don’t listen to her.
No one has yet mentioned the spelling error in #2 about spelling errors! I would be forever grateful to a friend who would be willing to wheelchair race with me! As for alarm clocks – – I’ve set an alarm for my potential naps, in case I have something cooking or doing laundry, but I haven’t set an alarm clock for overnight in at least 10 years. Oh, what I wouldn’t give to “oversleep” some night!
these were all fun to read. my concern about the puzzle alarm clock is that one of the pieces would roll under the bed, and I might never find it. effectively making the clock worthless…
That Saudi Prince must have been very lonely … I almost feel sorry for him, but then … there’s likely a reason nobody wanted to talk to him and he had to pay so much for just a bit of conversation! I wonder what they talked about?
I hope nobody ever gives me an alarm clock such as that one! ‘Twould be an interesting novelty, but I’m famous for trying to put a square peg in a round hole and I don’t sleep with my glasses on, so it would likely wake the neighbors before I could manage to shut it off and I’d be lynched!
I have treppenwitzed so many times that I’m known as “day late and dollar short”!
I didn’t think about that but yes maybe he was lonely. Royalty isn’t all its cracked up to be. I wondered to what they talked about.
You mean I can’t send you one of those clocks for your birthday?😉
.
Glad you enjoyed the post! Hopefully it helps your Monday be off to a great start! 😊
Kristen looks like she’d rather have stabbed herself in the eye with a red hot poker than talk to that prince. Suggesting that money ain’t everything. 🤣
Number 3 alarm clock. Just NO. I can barely function when the alarm goes off. You might as well give me a fusion reactor to build than a puzzle. I will stick to my Robyn Williams shouting out ‘Good morning Vietnaaaaaaaam’ alarm.
Great share.

I think three spelling errors should exempt someone from being executed.
The French equivalent to “treppenwitz,” is “esprit de l’escalier.” The English equivalent is, “Duh.”

When I first saw the word ‘treppenwitz’ above, I thought it meant tupperware.

A few weeks ago I went through the task of throwing out mismatched lids and containers! Its as bad as the mismatched socks that come out of the dryer!

I think so. I went to a trippinputz party, and everyone kept falling all over themselves to get the great deals.

If they had a large tupperware coffin, that might be something to consider. As long as they remember to burp the lid before they seal me in.
