Peace Lily blooms in my house … If only Peace could bloom as easily all around the world … For that to happen it has to first start inside each person’s heart … May peace bloom in your heart today!
When long ago memories pop in unexpectedly and fill your heart with joy.
We aren’t always aware of the times that we are being someone’s Lighthouse … Keep being YOU … By that simple act you are touching lives.
I like your last thought.

Hmmm…I think there may be a way that I have been. I have tried “yelling” out warnings to certain stooges before something “THUNKS” them but….

So were you out all day again?

Yes, it was a very windy day. I did go in to a town and have a lunch.

Too bad about the wind, but at least it wasn’t rainy. And its ok to take a break for lunch. Food is needed. 🙂 I hope you took pics of your food. That is the cool thing to do you know.

No pics of food. I think I got some ok pics of the cliffs lit by the setting sun against the stormy sky.

Oooh just you describing those photos makes me believe that they are more than OK! Anxious to see them.

I highly doubt you will. That is as long as you don’t take forever to post the pics. 😉

I have a lot of editing to do when I get back home. I don’t really know what to do first

I can imagine. No pressure. Just drink an extra amount of coffee to make up for all you missed and that way you will be up all night and have more time. Sleeping is over-rated! LOL!

Hope your arms are feeling strong enough to fly. Did you practice flapping them? 🙂

It is difficult while wearing my camera backpack.

I guess that could weigh you down. Need to build up strength and maybe you can fly next time.
I do hope you have a safe trip back.

What if my heart is set on pizza? Would that count?
My long ago memories of starving all the time, sometimes leave my heart filled with joy. Because they are so long ago.
It’s always better to be someone’s lighthouse, than someone’s outhouse.

A more challenging week than most. Seeing the sadness of fellow parents who will never see their children again is heartbreaking.

Beautiful painting!
So true – I wish inner peace was that easy to achieve. Love the thought that we could be someone else’s lighthouse, guiding them.

Hi! Thanks for your comment. Pinterest has so many beautiful paintings and pictures. This one caught my eye.
Glad you liked the thought about the lighthouse. We don’t have to have any kind of special degree to help people, just a caring heart.

Cheerful and uplifting, Thank you, Joy. Your sweet post made me think of a poem by Mary Oliver. I will copy the beginning here:
“If you suddenly and unexpectedly feel joy, don’t hesitate. Give in to it. There are plenty of lives and whole towns destroyed or about to be. We are not wise, and not very often kind. And much can never be redeemed. Still life has some possibility left… “
