Tuesday’s Thoughts!

Happy Tuesday! The sun is shining, I am off work today and I have an iced salted caramel latte beside me, what more could I want? Both of my kids were home this morning too, which typically doesn’t happen, with everyone’s different schedules. Poor Brad is at work, but he will be home later. I hope your day has started off on a good note, and maybe even a sweet one, depending what you had to drink this morning. Enjoy the following quotes and I hope you can find some that connect with you!Β

  1. Taking a break, I’m looking at the pines swaying the cool, mid-day breeze, white clouds moving lazily in a bright blue sky. A small thing, perhaps. But what is this incredible experience?

#1 Tolkien must have been a reader of Russian novels…
β€œBetter the illusion that exalts us than ten thousand truths.” — Anton Chekhov
“One deception that elevates us is dearer than a host of low truths.” — Marina Ivanovna Cvetajev

#4 College students… I never looked like that. Did I?

    • Your break sounds wonderful. πŸ™‚
      Hmmm…..maybe Tolkien was! LOL!
I don’t know about you but looking that young but I did! Though I like to think I looked a little older than 12! My Dad took me out for my 21st birfhday and well….lets just say the waitress didn’t believe that I was anywhere close to 21!

    • I think 8 is the most popular one this time. πŸ™‚
I really liked 4 because its easy to forget that and easy to pour ourselves so much into others , forgetting ourselves. Always good to be there for others BUT you need to take care of yourself too.

      • I noticed that #8 was quite popular. I’m usually the guy out on an island who is the only one who likes one of the sayings. I think you meant #9β€”you can’t keep track of your own numbers. 🀣 #4 was pretty funny. I can’t say I have a favorite spatula yet. 😊
