Happy Tuesday! Is it really the week of Thanksgiving already? I don’t know how November flew by so fast, but it did! I know for many of us our Thanksgiving plans are different this year, which can be disappointing and stressful. I really hope though that whether or not your plans have changed that you still can have a special day. A day to take a break and breathe amidst the craziness of this world, and to be thankful for the things that really matter!

#4 and #7 struck me the most. The mess of our lives really can turn out well, sort of like a caterpillar becoming a butterfly. However it’s important to note that butterflies usually don’t live very long. So I wouldn’t strive too hard for perfection.

You may have a point there, but I think I am safe. Even if I lived to 100 I don’t think I would reach perfection! 🙂

So you’ll be a caterpillar all your life? How sad.

That wasn’t my point! 😛

So what was your point? I get so confused around you.

I am not sure anymore, you get me confused too, we are even! 🙂

We are all perfect, in our imperfections. All a matter of perspective…

You summed it up well, now I am not confused anymore. 🙂

“Pawfect” thoughts for these weird times. Yup this year will be quite different but we will still have plenty for which to be thankful.

Yes, #4 is a good one. We often look much tidier on the outside than the inside.
Not sure about #5, though. It left me with a mental image of a woman grabbing up an armful of ducklings and rushing across a busy street, while one poor forgotten duckling is left behind. Whether we take enough time to get our ducks in a row depends on how much we value our ducks, I suppose.

We do, don’t we!
Well you gave a much different impression of Number 5! Yes, that picture doesn’t make it look good. Poor duckling!
But I looked at it more as if we wait until we think we have things all straightened out, we may be missing out on a lot! Sometimes even in the midst of feeling like you have totally lost your sanity you still have to just go!

I’ve had to learn to let some things go. Of course, that does sometimes mean leaving behind a bit of a mess.

It does! But sometimes its what you have to do and sanity can still be found in the messiness!

#3…No coffee? Pffft.
#4…I am a hot mess.
#5…My ducks have never been in a row. That’s like herding cats…which I have tried.
#6…More people need to practice this one. If I begin to “assume”, it will be phrased as a sentence.

Correction. Phrased as a question.

LOL!!
Yes, so many problems arise when we “assume” things. I have to remind my daughter of that a lot!

Happy Thanksgiving!

I wonder if the coffee quote was put in there to catch anyone’s attention?

Hmmm….perhaps! Or maybe because I knew a lot of people could identify with it….not me of course, but other people. 🙂

If I lived everyday like it was thanksgiving I’d weigh 500 pounds, be an alcoholic, and all my relatives would hate me.

I’m going with #3 and #4. I’m up about 30 seconds before that first cup of coffee from my Keurig is in my hands.

Every single one of them are beautiful. No. 4 is the special though. We can never judge people situation based on appearance alone.
