Christmas trees are fire hazards. They should be thrown out with the coffee, tea, and wine.

I was sticking with the Newer Cheerio flavors, but it makes sense that you would mention the OLDer one. LOL! 🙂 I do like cinnamon, but I didn’t care for that one.
My Christmas tree isn’t a fire hazard, and drinking coffee, tea, wine and cocoa around the tree is perfect! 🙂

It is not normal to dislike Cinnamon Apple Cheerios.
You’ll need to drink coffee, tea, or cocoa around the Christmas tree, so you’ll have enough caffeine energy to put out the tree after it catches fire.

We have an artificial one that’s been gathering dust in the garage for years. My wife never wants to bother with setting it up. I’d like to throw it away, but it’s sentimental to her.

My family’s artificial tree still gets set up, although it is over 25 years old and more of the plastic needles fall off every year. It hasn’t yet been replaced because of sentimental memories of when the kids were little. Oh, well, at least our daughter’s dog has learned that the needles are not good to eat, after trying a few times.

After 25 years, how can you get rid of it? Hopefully it has enough pine needles left to last another 25.
It’s not the eating of the pine needles that would be bad for the dog. It’s what happens a few days later. Ouch.

The dog had enough sense to spit them out, while making an “Ew, yuck!” face, but had forgotten all about it by the next year and tried again.

A Cavachon (Cavalier King Charles Spaniel/Bichon mix). The dog has an encyclopedic memory for everything that she likes to eat, who might give her some of it, what the bag sounds like when it’s opened, and so forth. But when it comes to remembering what she shouldn’t eat — well, there aren’t as many brain cells devoted to that function.

I agree about technology. But look how they use it in China with their social credit system. That sort of crap might creep its way into the U.S. if we’re not careful.
Yes they do make apple-cinnamon Cheerios. I just polished off a box a few weeks ago.

Hey. Wired up properly, fake tree can sing you a Christmas lullaby or act as an alarm clock. On the other hand, real tree can serve as firewood (controlled burning of course…we don’t want Chancellor Gnu or Mrs. Gnu to be crispy critters).

😃 I will agree with that with some things. My husband was just talking about a kind of Hummus that he used to get. It said new and improved on the package last time he bought it and he said they totally ruined it!

I guarantee they mucked up the oil in it. Hummus “should” have olive oil in it, only. Most companies have changed to soybean oil or canola oil, both of which are so many levels of nasty.

Technology to reach out and touch…I’ve been doing that for over 25 years. There is still something to be said for mailing letters and cards.
I have never been able to eat Cheerios. Oats are nasty.
I haven’t had a tree for Christmas in over a decade. I grew up with an artificial tree at my paternal GPs and a real tree at my maternal GPs. My parents tried real trees with root balls for about five years. We would plant them in the front yard and each tree died within four months. After that, it was a cut, real tree. I still find discarded real trees on the curb heartbreaking. I’d rather leave the tree alive, in the ground.

Mailing cards and letters are Awesome! I love getting cards or letters in the mail!! A person taking the time to write them means a lot and I treasure them!

Blech. I tried to eat some that my cousin was eating when we were kids. They were nasty to me. I can’t stand oatmeal, either.
