Happy Tuesday! One week until Election Day, and …. I think the first quote fits perfectly for that. Enjoy all the quotes, and as always, its fun to hear which quote or quotes that you were most drawn too. Thanks for sharing in the comments below.

Put me down for the African Proverb in number 9.

I thought of you when seeing the snake and scorpion proverb, given your desert experience. I do like the hidden truths found in different proverbs. They are creative!

Maybe you should try putting sand in your latte instead of all that sugar.

You are funnny! I don’t think so! I love sand but NOT in my latte!

It is a powerful one! I love the proverbs, I really could probably do a whole post with just proverbs. 🙂

I don’t like #8, but I can identify with it. It sounds like something my wife would pull on me. The first one made a lot of sense to me. Corrie ten Boom should know how best to manage worry, as she had a lot of it in her life.

Number 8 sounds fun! 🙂 LOL!
You are so right! She was an amazing lady!

#8 had me laughing too. But, in fairness to my husband, he really does clean the shower — no vermin required.

I seem to like ones that others didn’t choose. My favorites were # 2, 4, and 7.

Love these! Absolutely wonderful! I love especially the Corrie ten Boom. And the Mandela. And because it’s election time I have to say the Churchill quote reminds me of our current (and hopefully not much longer) president.

As always, some really great selections. The Churchill quote sure seems appropriate during these last days of the election in particular.

Thanks Monika! And yes I thought the same about that quote.

I liked the last one, but it’s got some circular reasoning. If the son claims his family is poor, does that mean it’s really wealthy?

I can’t believe I didn’t know the Churchill one. That’s the kind of behaviour that gets you deported these days.
