  1. Thank you so much, dear Carolyn, for this perfect post. I’ve long said that animals have no religion, and don’t judge their fellow critters on the colour of their fur. Humans claim to be a superior race, but in my book, they are far inferior. Hugs. ❤

  2. I think most adults get it. I think it’s only a few who don’t understand, and who cause all the trouble. Racial equality is a lesson that’s pretty easy to learn. Although I imagine it may be more difficult to learn when we see mobs burning buildings and looting businesses. That’s the sort of thing that can harden hearts and create an unnecessary learning block to racial equality.

    • You are right there are a lot of adults that do indeed get it!

Yes, even George’s family has called for the rioting and looting to stop, that its not the way to honor his memory! And sadly it just makes things worse, for like you said, it causes hard feelings. I saw a video the other day that was so sad, for it was an older black man yelling at the gang that was burning down his business and they had burnt his truck as well.
He told them how he had come from the ghetto too, but he worked hard to get where he was today and now in a matter of minutes they reduced his dream to ashes for what reason??

People have just gone crazy and we have a leader who…. well, don’t get me started on his reaction to all of this and his powerful speech about bringing this Country together …. oh wait, he didn’t make one did he.
      Yeah, his silence speaks volumes.

  3. It is increasingly apparent that the answer must still be “Blowin’ in the Wind”, for it has not yet been found anywhere on this Earth. “The planet does not need more successful people. But it does desperately need more peacemakers, healers, restorers, storytellers and lovers of every kind. It needs people of moral courage willing to join the fight to make the world habitable and humane.” – David W. Orr. I would add two more words to the last sentence “For Everyone”! A favorite song by my favorite performers. Thank-you!
