Who would have known that the year that we didn’t have to worry about snow days due to a record breaking winter of barely any snow, that there would be more missed school days than we have ever had!
Who would have thought that in a time of peace that the Olympic Games would be postponed, they have been postponed before in times of war, WW1 and WW2.
Who would have thought ….
No one knew what this year was going to bring, and we don’t know what the future holds, but we have today, to live, love and laugh! Embrace the day and look for the sun amidst the clouds. If you are looking, you will find it!
- I apologize for the groans this may bring, but I know there are some who will appreciate this humor. I shake my head,as I wonder what I am doing. LOL!
- Thanks to Mitch for this quote and Number 10. http://mitchteemley.com/2020/03/21/dont-just-survive-live/
- What color do you want? 🙂
So many spoke to me this week! But 10…

Thanks for ripping something off for us punsters. It’s good, clean, disposable humor, that squares like us really love.

Excellent choices! Your post provides wisdom and smiles! I must go with the well loved #10, G. K. Chesterton is a favorite of mine. I also must share a quote that was amidst the emails that arrived to my inbox this morning. “You have power over your mind, not outside events. Realize this, and you will find strength.” – Marcus Aurelius, 121 AD – 180 AD. It was a timely reminder as I sat in a cold house waiting for the repairman! Stay well…and warm! Thank-you!

Yes, I just couldn’t pass up Chesterton’s quotes when I saw them. 🙂
That is a great quote that you shared, and pefect for this time. Hope the repairman didn’t take too long to come. 🙂

Yes and no as I’m actually with an outside agency that’s contracted with the school district. Classes are on pause for me right now, but I’m currently working from home creating prevention self-care videos and tools that we’re sharing with the community.

Hi Mitch! Thanks for stopping by. There are so many wonderful quotes, so Tuesday is always a fun day. Thanks for your help with 2 of the quotes.
And yes, couldn’t resist the “King Lear” one. So what will your project be? 🙂

Do you mean my “quarantine project?” Same as before the lockdown, actually: my in-progress novel.
