Tuesday’s Thoughts!

Happy Tuesday! Hope your week is off to a great start. We didn’t get much of a snowstorm this past weekend, like what was in the forecast. It was more ice than snow. I am ready for a good snowstorm, to watch the snow falling as I sit wrapped in a cozy blanket with a cup of tea, or hot cocoa. I am sure it will come sometime. At least it is sunny today, the dogs are lying right in the path of the sun as it streams through the living room windows. They love that! May the sunshine of happiness fill your day today!

  1. First, allow me to tell you that I had to smile upon noticing that you listed Filosofa’s Unchained Melody as posts that you like. The smile is due to the fact that my eyes are still red and my eyelids swollen following the writing of a comment there! But, I digress. Tuesday’s Thoughts are excellent indeed! Aldous Huxley is one of my oft quoted persons and your choice describes quite well what is happening within the Senate today. One can never go wrong with a Martin Luther King, Jr. quote and you have included 3 very good ones. #3 reminds me of Benjamin saying “yesterday” when referring to any day other than today that can be a day ago or a year ago. Of course, I will share a quote with you…you need not ask! I received a card last week from a dear friend with a box of Godiva Dark Chocolate Truffles, the cranberry was divine! Printed on the front of the card were these words : “Every experience, no matter how bad it seems, hold within it a blessing of some kind. The goal is to find it.” – Budda. I opened the card and found these words : You won’t find it in here! Thank-you! Oh yes, in the event that you missed Jill’s post about Squirrels and Hugs yesterday, today contained two celebrations : 1) Squirrel Appreciation Day…nuts and seeds are fitting shows of appreciation. 2) National Hug Day…a neckbuster hug from Benjamin & a gentle one from me. “A hug is a nice gift – one size fits all and it’s easy to exchange.” – Unknown.

    • Hi Ellen! I am going to have to go back and read the comments about Jill’s song.
Love that Benjamin identifies with Number 3 too. 🙂
      Yay for squirrel day!
Thanks for another great quote, my friend and hugs from you and Benjamin are always welcome!!! ♥️ Hugs back to you both!
