I know this isn’t a Christmas song, but there is a story behind it. I was chatting and laughing with a dear friend yesterday, and ended up getting in a “hole”, yes,ย I am sure some of you will be so shocked by that. Anyway, my friend assured me that if I was to post a Neil Diamond song that all would be well. So just for you, sweet Dee, here is your favorite song, and it took all my willpower to not post an Air Supply song too, but I was good! May all of you enjoy the song as well! Do you have a favorite Neil Diamond song?
‘I’ve Been This Way Before” – a beautiful song, and such a good choice to end a concert with (Ref. “Love at the Greek (Live)”.

I will check it out. There are just a few of his songs that I am real familiar with.

Your favorite must be Sweet CaroLINE! ๐ ๐ ๐

Yes, I do like that song, though it should have been “Sweet Carolyn” , but remember my dear ONLY Neil Diamomd can get away with saying “Caroline”. ๐

What? Even Charles Ingalls can’t say Caroline? ๐

I dont know about the rest of you, but, this is now my official end of the year song! Makes me smile and remember the people that fill my life with so many songs worth singing. Sometimes โsomeoneโ slips a really BAD song amidst my playlist, but, put on a little Neil Diamond and that pesky Hippo quickly becomes a not so fond memory! Happy New Year to ALL the MUSIC!

That’s odd because . . . Money Talks, but it don’t sing and dance (and it don’t walk). ๐

Brad I think you’ve got Neil covered. Cant say I’ve ever heard Cruncy Granola Suite!!

Well, I don’t think Crunchy Granola Suite was a single (at least I don’t recall ever hearing it on the radio), but it’s an album track that I thought was catchy. Here it is:
Enjoy some crunchy granola. ๐

Oh gosh! Sorry, don’t think I can help with that request. If you wouldn’t have let Grandma be killed by a reindeer, ahe could have made you some figgy pudding. ๐

Nice. Now there’s a tear in my beer, and I might just drown in my pillow. Good going, sweet Caroline.

Thanks, try not to drown. And I do thank you for the “sweet” part but remember its not Caroline. ๐

I remember Song Sung Blue. Wow, that was a long time ago ๐ And yes, it definitely would not go well with Air Supply!
