Its not looking like we will have a White Christmas, but that’s okay, I know there are several of you that live where its warm so you don’t get see snow on Christmas either. You also don’t have to bundle up in layers to do your Christmas shopping. I had mentioned to my daughter the other week on a cool, windy day when we were out, that Christmas should be in the summer! I thought I would share some more Christmas music with you today, as you read the quotes. Enjoy! May the meaning of Christmas warm your heart. Take a breath and enjoy a peaceful moment, for peace and love is what Christmas is all about.

I’ll think of you while shoveling our white Christmas. 😊

I’ll go with the George Carlin meme, today. Oh by the way, “beleive” is actually spelled “believe”.
Looks like we Southern Californians are going to have a White Christmas, instead of you guys, if you can beleive that.

Oh gosh on “beleive” I didn’t even notice, but hey I didn’t mess up on the name of the song or the artist! 🙂
Wow on the White Christmas! O guess we decided to let you guys have a turn. Make me a snowman!

Keep it up. You’re turning into a reliable deejay.
Christmas day we’re expecting a mix of rain and snow. But overnight and into Thursday, they’re saying we might get walloped by the white stuff. We’ll see. Heavy snows are rare in these parts, but about 11 years ago we got a foot of snow around Christmas.

You sure it is not ash from all those fires?

Well if it was ash, it was damned cold ash. And it did eventually melt.
Maybe now I’m going to have to do a post about it, for you naysayers and nattering nabobs of negativity.

Now I was not nattering

Isn’t it sad that with all the interest in the giving aspects of Christmas; with all the emphasis on peace and love at this time … that such messages are scarce over the rest of the year?
LikeLiked by 1 person
I very much agree! If those messages would be spresd year round, what a different world this may be!
LikeLiked by 1 person
Yes … whatever spresd means, but it sounds like a raesonible thing to beleive! 🙂

Oooh yes I am sure, as sure as I am about whose stocking may have a little coal in it! 🙂

With all of the dogs and people that I take care of all year, my stocking should probably be full of the finest treats and treasures.

Oh sure it may have all those nice things in it too …. along with the coal!

You have something for everyone. I’ll take number 6.
Looking forward to another Christmas with my kids.
My neighbor is apparently having a white Christmas by growing a bumper crop of dandelions in her front yard. I hope the wind blows the opposite direction.
And if my dog is an angel, then the muddy holes in my backyard must be sacred.

Hmmm….why am I not surprised that you will take number 6. I was going to name some names by that quote but … I didn’t have to. 🙂
Have an anwesome time celebrating with your kids. Make sure to listen to the song by…. I can’t say the name but he is small and furry.
Haha on the dandelions! They been long gone from our yard! Don’t fall in any of those sacred holes. 🙂

A splendiferous compilation of quotes on this Christmas Eve. I will add one of my favorites that was found in Kevin Alan Milne’s wonderful first book that was published in November of 2008 titled “The Paper Bag Christmas” : “Christmas magic is silent. You don’t hear it – You feel it, You know it, You believe it.” Merry Christmas! Thank-you!

Having a wonderful day ~ the Disney parade followed by a walk on the beach. While there, had a delightful exchange with John (one shoe off and one shoe on ~ do you know the poem?) and with John’s younger brother who listened with rapt attention as I sang his favorite Christmas Carol ~ The Little Drummer Boy.
We watched The Grinch (Boris Karloff) version with lunch. About to go for a bike ride. Chinese buffet for dinner while watching a Tudor Christmas on PBS. All good stuff!

Fantastic quotes, from the sublime to the “funny but true” (George Carlin). I think the music at Christmas time is what I enjoy the most of the season; well, except for the cookies, and the tree, and the kiddies opening their toys, and the…. well, the music is way up there! 🙂 xo
