- Fluent in other languages, I am not! But I do know the Spanish phrase,ย “Feliz Navidad”and I even know a little Hawaiian as well. “Mele Kalikimaka” ๐
2. Tomorrow is the shortest day of the year, and so someone has dubbed it “National Short Girl Appreciation Day!” Sounds like a very important day to me! Thought I would spread the word so that now you know and can prepare for it,ย because I am kind like that! ๐ย
3. Christmas lights shine bright, but let your heart light shine even brighter!ย
We need a special day to appreciate short girls? I appreciate them as much as anyone else on any given day. Is there something that I have missed?
We need a special day for slightly over-weight middle-aged guys. Oh wait, that’s every day.

Haha! You have a point there! I don’t make up the days, I was just spreading the word. Did you like the Christmas song, did you click on to this link? ๐

No worries, you were fine. Ugh on being sick. Sinuses can be a real pain, I know! Get a nice hot drink and hope you get better fast!! In the meantime keep listening to Mele Kalikamaka ๐

Thanks for sharing the song link with us. I remember hearing this Bing Crosby song when I was growing up, but it has probably been decades since I last heard it.

You are very welcome! Another reader brought it to my mind when we were discussing Christmas songs that we like and he mentioned this one being a fsvorite. You don’t hear it on the radio much so I thought I would share it. ๐

We hear it every time we watch National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation!

Bravo! Considering that the Hawaiian alphabet has 12 letters, five vowels and seven consonants, we’re impressed. The only Spanish we know is “Fleas Navidog.” Have a super weekend.
