  1. You know how I feel about kindness… And this is a great reminder of why it is so important to be as kind as possible 🙂 I love the quote at the end… I really have to remember it! Thank you for sharing 🙂 🙂 🙂 xx

  2. Great short movie. In a culture that is sadly self-serving, we need a reminder that we have so much to give … whether it be a few $$$s … our time … a friendly ear … a smile … or even our seat. There is so much that can say “you exist and I care” but, unfortunately, it is so common to just see barriers put up.

    • Glad you liked the movie. I love how you don’t need many words and sometimes no words, to convey a powerful message.
You are exactly right, there are so many ways to show we care. It doesn’t need to be anything dramatic and huge, sometimes the simplest acts, can mean so very much.

  3. Perhaps there are more lessons to be learned here:

That old man could have been kinder by letting that crippled lady have a seat. And that crippled lady could have been more generous, by not hogging all the kindness. She and the old man could have taken turns sitting and standing, so that they both would have had a chance to be kind.

  4. Having actively participated in the Global Climate Strike yesterday, once again these become Satfriurday’s Super Short Stories. On the first story : Climate Change is real and man-made, there is overwhelming scientific proof of that fact…no matter what one chooses to believe. On the second story : “Be kind whenever possible. It is always possible.” – Dalai Lama. Lastly, judging by the comments centered around the short video, I chose to skip it! Thank-you!

    • You are right dear Ellen, what one chooses to believe doesn’t change the facts! Too many bury their heads in the sand.
Yes it always possible to be kind and we have so many chances every day to show kindness.
Besides the “5 hour” part, which the comments were about, the film does make a very good point! 🙂 Have a great day!
