Not your typical Back-to-School Ad!

Different ideas were going around in my head this morning for a post, but nothing was quite feeling right. Then I came across this short but powerful clip and knew I had my post. It was put together by a group from Sandy Hook Elementary School. That is the school that had a school shooting in 2012  which took the lives of 20  little children and 8 adults! Warning. this video will NOT leave you with a warm fuzzy feeling! I’m sorry.

Is this the new America now, where every day school supplies have now become something much more! Will this be how America stays?

  1. I do not know how you came upon this video, but I applaud you for sharing it on your blog. I would like to encourage all Parents, all Grandparents and any other persons that are concerned about protecting all school children’s lives from a tragedy like that of Sandy Hook to join the Sandy Hook Promise. It is a non-profit organization founded by family members of the some of the victims of December 14, 2012. Become involved, purchase items from their store and/or donate to further their programs. As John F. Kennedy said : “Children are the world’s most valuable resource and its best hope for the future.” Please, let’s make sure they have a future! Thank-you!

    • I was scrolling through FB and saw it and the powerful ending just wrenched my heart! Thank you for your added info about Sandy Hook Promise, I hadn’t heard of them before and want to look more into them. John F. Kennedy said it very well!! Thanks for sharing Ellen!

I love to steal from my blogging buddies. It gives my lame brain a chance to relax.

This is actually a very serious post, contributed by Carolyn, at joyroses13. We’ve agreed that it would be nice to see this on TV. We can’t do that ourselves, but at least we can post it on our blogs.
