Moments of pure joy fill the heart with golden rays of sunshine and memories of the warmth of the rays keep you smiling when it rains.
Graduation time for many, may wonderful adventures be ahead, as their mountain awaits them! What advice would you give to a graduate?
Succulent sweet strawberries for strawberry shortcake, summer has begun!
Hmmm…I’m going to tell my daughter to work hard…it really does pay off. And be careful of credit cards…convenient but not free money

Very wise advice! My daughter and I just had another talk about credit cards recently. And how they can end up costing you lots of money!

I’d advise any new graduate to get vasectomies, or their tubes tied, have their taste buds extirpated, and destroy their TV sets. That way they can begin their careers without the expense or hassle of children. They’ll never waste their money on fine food. And they won’t have to pay exorbitant cable bills. They’ll save all kinds of money and be able to retire at a young age.

Oh gosh! Once again I am very glad I was not drinking something when I read your comment, for I was definitely not expecting your first line. LOL!
Not sure about the taste buds thing either ,but I will agree with you on the TV. 🙂 If my taste buds were gone I couldn’t enjoy the delicious taste of coffee!

Just my point. Think of how much money you’d save if you had no incentive to buy coffee.

But ….. It wouldn’t be that much money, and now I am feeling thirsty talking about coffee. Saw an advertisement for an Almond Fudge coffee at the Dunking Donuts near us, think I may have to get some. 🙂

Oh well, my philosophy is that all drugs should be legal, as I don’t like the nanny state. So go ahead and poison yourself with coffee, if you really want to. But while you’re at it, can you send a Dunkin Donut my way?

I would say the two Greatest Commandments are the most important things in life. After that, everything falls into place. They are loving God, and loving your neighbor as ourselves.

Be kind to each other. Be kind to yourself.
When you have the chance, take a donut. Or strawberries.
100% of the time.
