In a crowd of a thousand, your heart can feel lonely, but being the only one sitting by a lake can bring warmth to your heart.
Hiking in nature is exercise for the heart and mind.
The ordinary can become extraordinary depending on one’s perspective!

I definitely agree with the hiking short story. It isn’t just the legs and lungs that get exercised. And I think it’s also good for the soul.

Ahh! I love that ” Nature nurtures” 🙂 it definitely does!
I remember when I was in the hospital several years ago for a week. Oh how wonderful the fresh air felt when I finally was able to walk outside to go home!! I could never live in Alaska! Being cooped up for long periods of time because of the weather, no thanks!

You don’t need to stay cooped up in Alaska ~> you can go sledding and skiing and skating and you can build snow igloos and . . .
ACK! You’re right. I’d stay inside by the fire!

Beautiful tidbits, I totally agree our perspective can do wonders on how we respond to any given situation and nature is always a loving balm for the heart and soul.
Have a wonderful weekend Carolyn! 🙂 ❤

He’s still directly in the middle of it, but thankfully it’s not hitting him as hard so far. 😊

Hope it soon passes, but glad it’s not quite as bad!

Nice stories. I’ve heard that ordinary is the half-full glass. Extraordinary is the same glass not measured, but relished.

Great shorts, Joy. I particularly agree with the second one – being out in nature is wonderful for body, mind and spirit. 🍃😊
