I see those messages as simply affirmations that our education system is teaching us everything we need to know to be employed, make some money and support industry …. but it teaches us nothing about life.

It is very hard to choose a favorite, there are ten great possibilities and all are worthy. If pressed I would probably choose #2, it reminds me of the lesson that my Emerson quote of last Tuesday provides. There are many ways to waste the seconds, minutes and hours of one’s day and one must be mindful to value each of them as the gift they are. Then #9 gives one pause to evaluate what one is leaving, what one could leave and amending according to what one wishes to leave behind while remaining mindful of one’s impact on those that will follow. All of which brings to mind this quote : “Life, if well lived, is long enough.” – Seneca. Thank-you!
