Happy Tuesday! One of my dear reader’s told me last night that today is “National Share a Fairy tale Day.” In honor of the day I have included some fairy tale quotes. What is one of your favorite fairy tales? Remember we are never too old for them! As one quote says, ” Soon you will be old enough to start reading fairy tales again.” Keep the magic alive in your heart, fly with Peter Pan and make frequent visits to Neverland! Keep the joy of the 7 dwarves, (well except for Grumpy) as they whistle a happy tune. Keep believing like Cinderella! You never know what may happen when you believe in fairy tales!
I do love fairy tales!

I have fun sharing them, glad you liked them.

I like the beauty and the beast and the very last one (same thing as having wings when we ponder happy things)

The Beauty and the Beast song has been going through my head since I posted that. 🙂
Thanks for your comment and keep thinking about happy things! 🙂

Yes – even tho (side note ) many fairy tales don’t have happy endings and they depict women in certain roles – and can have sinister plots – but I get the essence of your point today – 😉

That all is true but I am glad you got my point!! 🙂

Your point was truly delivered (with optimism and inspiration)
And I enjoyed the quotes on different colored backgrounds and with different fonts – it was like having tasty mental snacks

I also have a list of psychological disorders named after literary characters (including some fairy tales) and you might find interesting – I will try and post it later –

One small correction, it is National Tell A Fairy Tale Day! Nevertheless, you are very clever to join the day with Tuesday’s Thoughts and quite admirably too! The best time to tell a fairy tale is whenever the mood strikes, the best time to enjoy one is always. You may quote me! I in turn will share one of my favorite quotes about fairy tales. “Everything you look at can become a fairy tale and you can get a story from everything you touch.” – Hans Christian Anderson. Whether you read, share or tell a fairy tale…be sure to enjoy the day! Thank-you!

Ahh! I had a feeling something wasn’t right when I wrote “share a fairy tale” 🙂
It was fun to do and I had almost put the quote down that you just shared. Just not enough space but keep your eyes open , you never know when you might see it pop up! 🙂 Enjoy your day sweet Ellen and thanks again for telling me about fairytale day. Now if I could just find my cleaning fairy! LOL!

Hehehe. I often feel like I AM snow white. I practice #1 most of the year (piling wood for winter), so #3 speaks to me, but I love how my life proves #9 to be true.

Aww do you have 7 dwarves ? 😉
#3 is a nice reminder for when we are looking for the fruit!
I loved number 9, glad you identified with it too. ❤

Ah, stop picking on Grumpy. He’s my favorite dwarf. And here’s a great quote I stole from him: “I’d like to see anybody make ME wash, if I didn’t wanna!”

LOL!! Glad to know Grumpy has a fan and I would say that quote fits him exactly! But we all know that really underneath his grumpy exterior there is a soft teddy bear inside 🙂

Of course there is. He ate it.

Joy are you spying on me? I just brought a new load of firewood in for the fire. I have always loved that quote. 2, 3, 4, and 9 are spot on. There seems to be a theme: Work hard, be kind and trust you will have what you need when you need it. Lovely my friend. ✨💕✨

Everyone needs a little fairytale whimsy in their life! I never stopped loving them.
Love the quote by Sue Fitzmaurice – sometimes what we learn while waiting is more valuable than what we’re waiting for. Another reminder to stop and smell the flowers once in a while.

Yes they do!
Glad you identified with that quote as well. I have had many “waiting room’ moments in life and sometimes they can be Very Hard, but like you said sometimes if we take the time to stop, they can have their rewards with the things we learn!
Thanks for reading and for your comment!

So true! Good point – often those ‘waiting room’ moments are sobering wakeup calls.
