Hooray for another year of having fun! My favorite today was the blessing in #10. I find a little bit of magic when I visit here. 🙂

I like the Socrates quote. I’d have to say quite true. I like the baby laughing too. Never fails to make everyone else who sees/hears them laugh too. It’s precious.

If I were one to make resolutions for the new year, it may have included reading new posts in a timely manner. Since, at least it seems so to me, that making a resolution is almost certainly a precursor to failure…I do not and as I just proved, I would have failed the very first day! I prefer to set goals, they seem more workable. At any rate, you have once again provided some marvelous inspiration with your choices. I love #2 and #10. I will give you a “Benjaminism” and a short story, of course. When Benjamin came on Monday, he had his usual tote full of toys. He immediately began to regale me with each of the newest treasures. Soon he pulled out Jellybean the Rabbit and Jaxon the Jackalope, to which I expressed my surprise that he brought these older toys too. Benjamin looked at me with surprise and dismay and said : “Gem, you don’t forget old friends just because you have new ones!” Should old acquaintance be forgot indeed! Thank-you!
