Happy Wednesday! A while back a faithful reader of mine had mentioned about calling “Tuesday’s Thoughts” , “Wednesday’s Wit and Wisdom” when she had read the post one Wednesday. I thought this was the perfect week to do that and I do like the ring it has to it. 🙂
I hope everyone enjoyed Christmas and perhaps you are still enjoying it. We had a wonderful day of being together and just relaxing, while sharing love and laughter.
Some of you may be wondering about Jinx and Jangle. Don’t worry, I haven’t forgotten them. Did they have a successful Christmas Eve making all their deliveries? What did they think of “George”?
I hope you enjoy today’s “Wit and Wisdom”, may you keep smiling. Christmas may be over, but we can keep the Christmas spirit in our hearts all year long and let it overflow to others!
Wonderful Christmas musings to think about! 😊

What a great list. Once again I find it difficult to choose just one or two. 😊

The suggestion of Wednesday’s Wit and Wisdom was definitely from a brilliant mind! You just never know where your inspiration might come from, do you? All are fantabulous choices and if forced to choose, it would be #8. More than 25 years ago, my Children and I began “adopting” a Family that would otherwise not be able to celebrate Christmas with gifts and food. This began because of something that one of them read, wrote down and shared…”You have not lived today until you have done something for someone who can never repay you.” – John Bunyan. Words are powerful motivators! Thank-you! P.S. Your Father’s post today is so beautiful!

OH yes, it definitely did come from a brilliant mind my sweet friend. 🙂
I love the tradition of “adopting” a family over Christmas, we have done similar things over the years. Always a delight to bring smiles to their faces and warm their hearts.
A wonderful quote that you shared. Yes words are very powerful motivators indeed!

Thank you and yes the lessons from the Christmas Tree made me smile, especially the last one, about being a little tilted. 🙂

The Christmas Tree gave me a smile too. Hard to choose between it and the list of chores for Santa!

P.P.S. I don’t know how or even if you know that a comment was made on a previous post, this blogging is a mystery to me! I just wanted to be sure that you were able to read Benjamin’s comments on “Twas the Night” from yesterday. Thank-you, again and again!!

Thanks for the reminder, I had seen it and your last line about Benjamin made me speechless, so I thought I would come back and comment later and then I forgot! Give him a hug for me please and one for you!! ❤ Thank you for spreading your warmth and kindness on my blog!

My fave is George C . Scott. 🙂 Have to see if I saw the Alistair Sims one. ________________________________

Alistair Sims is from 1951. The characters are well cast ~ especially the Cratchits and Fred.
And Scrooge on Christmas Morning is a delight ~ as he dances around “light as a feather, giddy as a schoolboy,” his housekeeper is convinced he’s gone mad and should see the doctor. 😀
