Happy Rainy Tuesday! Keep Smiling through the raindrops. 🙂 How is your week going? I am counting down the days to the beach! Yes, I do realize its Fall now and that we are heading into October which isn’t usually beach weather, but… The ocean waves can still work their magic charm no matter what time of year it is. Plus you don’t need to fight the crowds at the beach when you go in October. Yes, some people may still think I am crazy, and maybe they are right! 🙂
I just had to share this picture. How many times do you have an owl laugh at you? 🙂
Maybe the owl teaches that it’s wise to laugh.

“That was okay, Dog knew how to fetch.” I love that quote. The last line in particular. And Mr. Rogers always had that quiet comforting wisdom for children, and everyone. 🙂

Yes that last line on the dog one was my favorite quote today to! And Mr.Rogers had such a warm heart! I heard there is a new documentary that came out about him that is supposed to be really good, I would like to see. it.

Well, it isn’t the ocean but Lake Michigan. I love the lake in the fall and winter. Walking along the beach in a brisk wind is so much better than any summer’s day. (Plus there are very few people) you are not crazy.
What a happy barn owl. And for me 1. 3. 8. 9. and 10. Especially 10.

The Fred Rogers quotes are the winners. He has always been one of my most favorite people in the world. All of my children grew up in “Mr. Rogers Neighborhood”. Benjamin is too, thanks to the videos purchased from PBS. Every time that I see his name, I am taken back to his acceptance speech at the 1997 Daytime Emmy Awards, when he was given their Lifetime Achievement Award. He gave a less than 2 minute speech, now referred to as the “Ten Seconds of Silence” and it is the best speech that I’ve ever heard. My favorite Fred Rogers quote : “Often when you think that you are at the end of something; you’re at the beginning of something else.” Thank-you!

Oh Jodi you make me feel so good! 🙂 ❤
There is no magic formula and sometimes, like today, I sit with my face in my hands having trouble finding just the right ones.
Love to hear how touched you are on Tuesdays. ❤ .

great uplifting post – and the only side note is that in some cases we “can” build on the ocean – but for the most part we cannot.
