  1. I wandered into Jodi’s blog in May of 2017 because of a watercolor that I saw on another blog and I stayed. On May 26th, Jodi posted the watercolor of Odessa. She advised visiting your blog and Colin’s too. I heeded her advice and began following both that very day. Throughout this past year, I have watched this moment in the making…and the moment has arrived. I can not imagine a more rewarding achievement that seeing your name on the cover of your book! This is your baby, actually Colin’s and yours, that is the product of a labor of love. In the beginning, Benjamin needed the stories edited to keep his shorter attention span engaged. Now, at 4 1/2 yrs.old, he is able to hear the entire story sans editing. He is in love with the characters painted by “My, Jodi” and brought to life by Colin and yourself. They truly are stories for children of all ages…even the most “older-er” ones! Congratulations to all of you! Thank-you!

    • I am so glad that you found our blogs Ellen. Your comments always make me smile.
Thank you for your kind words and yes it is an awesome feeling! To know we can bring happiness to others through our stories is wonderful and I love that Benjamin enjoys the stories and has fallen in love with the characters. That is what Colin and I wan, for the characters to wrap around the hearts of others, like they did ours! Give him a hug for me and have a great day!
