  1. Happy Birthday to your daughter! 🎉🎊🎈🎂🍧
Worcestershire ….translation: Were stir sheer! Lol.
These are great quotes. #1 because it makes me smile when I hear birds singing again.
#4 because that’s EXACTLY what I would do.
#7 I think that’s a good thought to live by.
Yes,this is definitely happy dance time. Goodbye winter, Hello spring!

  2. If one acknowledges the origin of Worcestershire sauce as being in Worcestershire, England, then courtesy would suggest pronouncing it the way they do in Worcestershire, England.

Worcester (pronounced Wusster) is the main city (the local govt offices are there) in the Shire (pronounced “Shyer” when on its own, but “Sheer” when connected to the city’s name. Technically, it should be called “Wusstersheer Sauce”, but it is usually abbreviated to “Wusster Sauce”

So…….. Wustersheer Sauce originates from the Shyer of Wuster, otherwise known as Wustersheer, but the sheer is usually dropped to simply produce Wuster Sauce! 🙂

  3. Hey JR. Good Morning. I love the bird chirping season, one. You’re absolutely right, after winter passes, bird chirping weather is such a relief. I can also relate to the overthinking quote. Someone once told me that I think up solutions to problems that don’t even exist. So ever since then, I try to overthink less lol. Hope you’re having a wonderful day
. Also, hope the walkout or walkout events at your kids school went well. I hope that the government takes note if this in regards to gun violence. It wasn’t just teenangers or young adults I saw on the news, but parents and others who suffered due to any type of gun violence. I watched ET yesterday and many celebrities also took part. Even Paul McCartney, who lost his dear friend (John Lennon of course) to gun violence, George and Amal Clooney, Matthew McCononagy and his daughter, Reese Witherspoon, and many others were also in Washington DC at the major March and at other ones in big cities, so I hope that there presence helps the cause as well.

    Cheers JR,,

    Have a wonderful week!

    • Thanks Mandi! Always enjoy hearing from you.
I tend to overthink at times too, it’s hard at times not too. LOL at the part about you thinking of solutions to the problems that don’t exist. 🙂
Thanks I hope and pray that the government takes note as well! Always good to have celebrities helping to promote something so important! And the ones you named are some of my favorite ones! 🙂

  4. Need I even say that #5 is my favorite? You have chosen well today, all are worth remembering. Enjoyed the educational debate over the correct pronunciation of Worcestershire sauce. Thank-you, Colin, for an excellent clarification and it shall simply be Wuster sauce now and forever! A very Happy Birthday to your Daughter as she celebrates the last of her teen years. Thank-you!
