I thought it was time again for some cute, fun animal pictures and as always feel free to comment on what you think is going through their minds! Would you also like to give your opinion on what my family was discussing today? How many of you would love to have a pot bellied pig for a pet? They are said to be smarter than dogs and very easy to train! What do you think? Remember how cute Wilbur was in Charlotte’s Web? 🙂

I think that anybody who is considering adopting a pot bellied pig should research it very carefully (as they should any pet). Apparently shelters are recording a high level of pot bellied pigs being turned in due to their demands on their owners! They may be cute… but they are also (apparently) very demanding.

Oh I agree. It just came up in casual conversation, I am pretty confident that we are sticking with dogs! Just wondered what people thought about them as pets. That is sad that a lot are being turned into shelters

If you google about it, you may be surprised at what they will need (as a domestic pet).

I Googled and yes even though they are so cute I don’t believe we will be getting one!
My dear child LOVES any type of animal but that doesn’t mean they all make good pets.

Yes the pigs are so cute but after googling about them I am even more sure that we will be sticking with dogs as well!

Yes, I agree, not for me either. I Googled and read more about raising them. More work involved then what I thought.

I wouldn’t want a pot-bellied pig, but it would be fun to visit someone who had one! And yes, cute animal pictures definitely brighten things up on long winter nights. 🙂
