Happy Tuesday! It is a VERY HAPPY Tuesday for me today! One of my most precious friends is coming to visit me. Hoping the morning goes by fast until she gets here and after that wanting time to go slow! There never is enough time when we are together. We didn’t know at the young age of 10 that we would be destined to be forever friends! What a RIDE it has been.We have had our adventures for sure! I may have been responsible for the Peeps one, which Charlene won’t say a Peep about. At least I wasn’t the one who almost drove into the creek! You stuck by my side through all those doughnut runs you made with me, and not because I really wanted a doughnut 🙂 OH the list could go on, but that would make this post too long, so just hurry up and get here my dear friend.
Since my mind is on friendship, I figured why not have that be today’s theme. As I have said often, I am blessed by the bestest friends anyone could have! Here is to Friendship! Enjoy!

A bonus for today. 2 songs were on my heart when thinking about friendship. This first is called The Extra Mile, isn’t that what friendship is all about? Going the extra mile for those you hold so dear.
This next song I know I shared in another post a while back, but its has become so special to me. It was sent to me by Charlene when I really needed it. My prayer for you all is that you have friends and family that will lend you their wings when needed. Like one of my favorite lines from this song, “If your wings are broken, borrow mine ’til yours can open.”

I’d have to go with one and eight. On one end, there are people you meet and would have never ever thought you’d become best friends. Maybe you even disliked each other intensely at first, than years later your good friends. On the other hand, you meet certain people and right away there is this click, and you know you’re great pals then and there.
