Tuesday’s Thoughts!

Good Morning! Wishing Morning came a little later today, but…. “It is what it is”, right? 🙂 I was thinking of using quotes from last night’s Presidential Debate, but……well yeah, my thoughts exactly! Oh My, we will see what today’s thoughts bring,  they will be a surprise to both of us as I honestly don’t have them picked out yet. “Abbra CaDabra” instant post? Nope magic wand didn’t work. Maybe a magic wand would have helped with the debate last night though. HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY! 🙂

  6. So I had said to myself if anyone comments about #5 quote I would tell my little story that happened today. Well “PondetheIrrelevant”, just happened to…so here is the amusing story. Feel very free to share anything similar to this experience that you may have had! I can’t be the only one! Lets just say that it was ironic that I put that quote for today. I think it jinxed me. All these years of looking for signs and today it just came out and bopped me on the head!

    At work we were leading our kiddos up to the gym. My co-worker and I started singing a very well known song! I have known this song for a LONG time. We sing and after the first line I stop her as I am laughing. The song was “I Saw the Sun”,…..Right now you are either saying, 1.I don’t know that song or 2. Wait a minute, you mean the “I saw the “Sun”, I opened up my eyes and saw the “Sun” song ? YES that one! Are you laughing yet or confused ? 🙂

    I smugly told her that the word was “sun” not “Sign”, like she was singing. I was older than her and laughingly informed her I had known this song for a long time, sang it in my head many times over,etc. I asked her, “If it is a sign, then what does the sign say??” She defended her position and when we made it to the gym, she pulled out her phone and googled. Meanwhile I was still laughing. Let me just say that I am learning to strongly dislike Google! Yes the phone got held up very close to my face as it played, “I Saw the Sign”. Now you can imagine who was laughing, but honestly I was laughing to, I had to. I was in shock! How could it be! And when it flashed in my mind about the quote that I had shared about signs today I had to laugh harder. I weakly tried to say it was wrong and another “caring” co-worker put her arm on my shoulder as she said, “Yes, you are right, the WRITER messed up and wrote the wrong words!” See how wonderful my co-workers are! :p!

    What can I say, the freaking song has been going on in my mind now all day and I still can’t say the right word. SUN is embedded in my brain! And unfortunately it will be a long time before my co-workers forget as well!

    • Lol – so now I see that quote as my sign to ask so you could share this story! Amazing how the Universe manages to work things out! 😉

      If it helps, I totally knew which song you were talking about “sun” or “sign.” I used to dance around singing that song all the time – and I’m guessing I will now be doing the same thing for the rest of the day (only maybe just in my head)! Lol.

      There was an episode of Friends where Phoebe mistakes the lyrics “tiny dancer” for “Tony Danza” (Elton John). Now whenever I hear/think of that song, I sing those lyrics instead. I suspect you have just managed the same feat with this song, but that’s okay. It’ll make me smile to remember the why 🙂

        So glad I could make you smile now and every time you think of the song. Plus while smiling you will think of me 🙂 I have given my co-workers the ability to be smiling as well. I am the last one to come to work in the morning and half of us are gathered in one large room with the little ones. Well this morning I walk in and barely get the words Hello out before they all break into song. I am sure you can guess exactly what it was! And they used the word “sun”. Aren’t they sweet!! Plus we went outside to the playground and 3 of them look to the sky and say, “Look Carolyn we see the SIGN!”, as they are looking at the sun. Oh yeah, it will be awhile til I live this one down. Someone else needs to hurry up and do something, LOL!

  10. Sorry, took me so long to reply to this. I’ve been having trouble concentrating earlier on in the day lately, I think the lack of light as fall is here. I like number six it’s one of my favourites And number eight just made me laugh. Indeed, ordering on line is like getting presents (that you paid for). Lol, Have a great weekend my friend.
