My days of jumping out of bed are more a thing of the past than the present, and now I have a teenage son that hates that initial awakening and I have to coax him up. Hmm, why am I always the one to wake up those reluctant souls? I do have to say, I *usually* don’t have to get my dear hubby up-although he is not the happiest to get those feet on the floor, either!

Yes, I remember also the “coaxing” by pulling the window blind up, letting the bright sunshine in and singing about what a beautiful day it was. I would “agree” with you as I pulled the covers over my head!
I guess I do owe you some overdue thanks, huh!? For I probably would have been late several times if not for your “coaxing”,:)

Alas, I think your reluctance to get out of bed helped my resolve to get up be stronger. If we both slept in, we would have been in grave danger!
