Tuesday’s Thoughts

Good Morning! The quotes for today have 1 thing in common. They are all from Children’s  books. Due to various reasons  Dr.Seuss has been on my mind, and that inspired me to find more quotes from Children’s books. They may be written for children, but some of the quotes mean more when you become an adult. Enjoy! What Children’s books were your favorites when growing up or are your favorites now?  If I missed a quote you grown to appreciate feel free to share it below in the comments. Have a great day!

1.Antoine de Saint Exupéry, The Little Prince From the Little Prince – a great book!

2.J.M. Barrie, Peter Pan

3.Dr. Seuss, Oh, the Places You'll Go!

4.Louisa May Alcott, Little Women

5Kevin Henkes, Lily's Purple Plastic Purse

  1. Oh these are so lovely. You always find just the right things that tug at my heart strings. I am particularly fond of the first one. It reminds me of my story of a beautiful hello that I posted Saturday. That sweet man was looking at me with his heart – not his eyes. Oh sweet C! Thank you for sharing these beautiful thoughts. Children’s books are so full of wisdom. Why do we grow up and complicate life so! 🙂 xo

  2. Lovely theme. I like 3,6,10 this week. Number 10 seems to resonate today. Sometimes are situation in life makes us feel small, but we’re still a person and worth as much as anyone else.
