Which Fish are you?

“I’m a Pout Pout fish with a Pout Pout face and I spread the dreary, wearies all over the place!”Activities about emotions/spreading feelings with the book - Pout Pout Fish:

I’m a Kiss Kiss fish, with a Kiss Kiss face and I spread the cheery cheeryies  all over the place!

Picture 5 – Yellow Tang Picture:   Sorry they didn’t have a picture of the Kiss Kiss fish from the book, but I love the smile on this fish 🙂

We have this book in my Daycare class of 2 year olds and they love it! And I can’t help but to love the message of it to! Yes there are definitely times where we feel like a Pout Pout fish BUT we don’t always need to be a Pout Pout fish like this one thinks in the story. He sees no hope of being happy, until different types of fish come around spreading joy to him and showing him that it is possible to SMILE!

Life is FULL Of Hard things, but it is full of a lot of GOOD things too! And I am so thankful for the reminder of how it is possible to be a Kiss Kiss fish and spread the cheery, cheeryies all over the place! Maybe today you are saying its just too hard, that is OK. Take your turn at being the Pout Pout fish and let those who love ya hold you up, just remember not to stay there! And if you feel like a Kiss Kiss fish today, don’t keep the cheery cheeryies to yourself. Go SPREAD them, the Pout Pout fish need them! 🙂

How sweet!

I had a migraine most of the day today, was ready to call it a night and thought I would check my email. Turned on the computer and I found this as our screen saver. My heart was warmed and the ache in my head dulled a little as the love in my heart grew. Some of you I am sure are questioning what this means, and I am sure some of you got it right away 🙂 Here is a hint, it has to do with a TV show and my hubby knew it would make me laugh, and feel loved at the same time. Don’t know much better therapy than that for a migraine. Now I am heading to bed and tomorrow hopefully I will be able to write something for you all, but thought I at least would share this! Sweet dreams!

Tuesday’s Thoughts!

Good Morning! Well the thought in my head this morning is ,”What is this white stuff falling from the sky??” Yes, it is snowing again, but we aren’t supposed to get near as much snow as last time! So for now I can enjoy the beauty of it falling once again as I try to select quotes that will resonate with all of you. 🙂 Happy Tuesday!

1. “Everyone walks past a thousand stories each day. The good writers are the ones who see five or six of them, most people don’t see any.” Orson Scott Card

2.”People generally see what they look for and hear what they listen for.” Harper Lee

3. “If you have good thoughts, they will shine on your face like sunbeams and you will always look lovely.” Roald Dahl

4. “Promise me you will never forget me, for if I thought you would, I would never leave.” A.A. Milne

5. “She reads books, as one would breathe air, to fill up and live.” Annie Dillard (so true!)

6. “She took the leap, and built her wings on the way down!” Unknown Author

7. “I walked into the bookshop and breathed in the perfume of paper and magic that strangely no one ever thought of bottling!.” Darius Ruis Zafron ( I do love the smell of new books, I love my Kindle, BUT it is sad how bookstores are dwindling!)

8. “You drown not by falling into a river, but by staying submerged in it.” Paulo Coelho

9. “When you judge another, you do not define them, you define yourself.” Dr. Wayne Dyer

10. "Things happen, and you can't make them un-happen..." - Jennifer Weiner // Love the book Good in Bed! (JuliannaRae.com):

Please share your favorites again in the comments. I love how different ones touch different people. Right now its number 6 that really jumped out at me! But I identify with 5 and 10 also 🙂 And maybe someone really should make perfume that smells like new books 🙂 Tho I don’t think it would have the magic in it.

It’s a Bird, it’s a plane, no it’s….

SUPER GIRL SHERRY!!!!!A BIG BIRTHDAY shout out to my WONDERFUL FRIEND SHERRY!!!  We have known each other for over 20 years now and the journey has been full of FUN, lots of laughter, adventure, but also the tears have been thrown in there and the hard times that we have held each other up through! That is what TRUE FRIENDSHIP is, being there in the SUNSHINE and the RAIN! Not being able to stop the rain from falling, but helping to be their umbrella!

Thank you my dear friend for ALWAYS being there!! I would put a sign on a billboard for you, but thought maybe I would save that for your 50th! 🙂 LOL! Get out that walker I gave you, for you are another year older now, may need it more!

Because of you, I laugh a little harder, cry a little less, and smile a lot more. Thank you!!!:

Friendly furball…..Gentle Grady……Forever loved!! ❤ ❤

In memory of my sister’s dog Grady. He was one adorable dog, but was sick and died this week. Thankful for his long life and his Paw print on our hearts! Dogs are Forever Friends! Was trying to post a picture, but it wasn’t working, sorry! Will try to get one to share later.

Good Afternoon! This post is titled Surprise, for I truly am not sure what I am going to write about. My mind feels blank as far as ideas go! Will see where this goes, may end up deleting it all and you would never know, then again, maybe I won’t.

Lol I pictured this video like this:   So this is what happens when you literally don’t know what to write 🙂 I typed in Blank in the Pinterest search bar. First things to come up were about Taylor Swift’s song:) The rest are as follows! ENJOY this kind of crazy post and if you are a new reader, do come back! Don’t let this post scare you 🙂

When I get a new notebook I like to just stare at it because I feel like I ruin it if I start doodling. I literally have like 4 one direction notebooks I haven't touched ...: When I open a new journal, this is how I feel!

Dragon, Ocean and Star

Welcome to Monday my friends! Does the weekend really have to be over??? Hope this story helps kick off your Monday to a good start! Thanks to my friend Meg for the words!

The young lady was walking along the ocean deep in thought. The sound of the waves were calming to her soul. The vibrant blue of the ocean didn’t cease to dazzle her, even tho she had been at this Tropical Island for a week now she could never tire of the beauty before her. This was her happy place and she was beginning to wonder if she would ever go home.

Rising early the next day she was out on the beach before anyone else. The beach made it easy to be a morning person and catch the spectacular sunrise each day. After taking more pictures she sat on her lounge chair and watched the waves as they rolled in and out. Like the waves her emotions seemed to roll in and out also. In and out, up and down, like a roller coaster. Being at the ocean helped keep her emotions steady and that’s why she wasn’t ready to return home yet.

That night she was out as the stars in the sky shone bright, and her gaze fell upon one star that appeared to shine extra bright. “I wish I may , I wish I might, have the wish I wish tonight.” That childhood saying came back to her and she figured Why not wish upon the star, what could it hurt and as she did a twinge of excitement fluttered in her heart.

When she awakened the next morning that flutter of excitement was still in her heart. She chided herself, for did she really believe that wishing on a star would make her dream come true. She grabbed her chair and book and walked out to her favorite spot on the beach.

Hearing something as she as reading she looked up and her eyes widened in shock! What was that coming towards her!! It looked like….but it couldn’t be, could it?? As it got closer, there was no mistake, it was a dragon! Shouldn’t she be screaming and frightened? All she felt was a powerful intrigue as to why this dragon was moving closer to her. Once it got close enough to touch she reached out and patted his head, amazed at how calm she felt. The dragon purred, she never knew dragons purred. He laid down beside her and she felt content. Her kids would never believe this! This vacation was definitely turning into a vacation like no other!!

Amazingly beautiful Beach:

Once we said thunder was the old man of sky snoring, lightning was the old man striking a match, but now we only want him to weep so we tell him our stories in honest tongues. -Linda Hogan via She Sings to the Stars:

This dragon hatchling I definitely wanna see in my garden (or balcony respectively) ;):

If you haven’t realized yet I LOVE Pinterest! Isn’t this dragon cute? 🙂
